What is your impression of what kind of man Abe Lincoln was?
I am writing a novel about Lincoln and am interested in what kind of man you think he was, what was his personality, what did he stand for, why should we remember him, what were his strong points or weak points?
If you are writing a novel you better get your research from legitimate sources, not Yahoo, which is basically all opinion. One comment about Lincoln is that the man was more heart than politican as he lost half the country to do what was right.
