I have over 50 bicentennial quarters (a.k.a. “drummer boy quarters”) and…?
…would anybody be interested in buying them if I sold them on ebay? No?
They’re all circulated so… just asking.
They are worth 25 cents each, so you might as well just spend them. The reasons that there is no premium attached to these coins include:
(a) they are circulated (collectors pay more for uncirculated coins)
(b) they are not rare (collectors pay more for rare or unusual coins)
(c) they contain no Precious Metal (collectors are forced to pay at least the intrinsic value of coins that contain precious metals)
