Should I continue to take my prenatal vitamins after giving birth?
I am set to give birth on Dec 1. I have heard women say that they have continued to take prenatal vitamins after they have their child. What are the benefits?
Yes, you still need to take them, because they have iron in them, and when you deliver, you will lose a good amount of blood, then that will make your iron level drop, so the prenatals will help with that. Also it will give the baby the vitamins it needs if you brestfeed. But I will still take them for atleast a month or 2 until you recover from the delivery
